The Intercept recently reported that The Ring home security camera from Amazon has some pretty gaping technolgy flaws. These flaws allow Ring employees, hackers, law enforcement, and whomever to use this alleged security device to peep into unsuspecting people’s lives.
While the easiest solution is not to use Ring from Amazon or Nest from Google, some people just have to have it. So, for them, here is some advice on how to minimize this kind of spying.
